If you're looking for a great place to enjoy the sun and sand with your furry friend, this dog beach in Volusia County, Florida is perfect for you.

Check out one of the ways we are making our area a better place for People and Paws, including the fantastic Daytona dog park and the scenic dog beach in Daytona Beach, FL!

Since opening on November 1, 2023, our volunteers have removed 9,512 pounds of trash from our dog-friendly beach in Volusia County, FL—nearly all of it left behind by humans.
When combined with the 1,270 pounds gathered during the People & Paws monthly beach cleanups we hosted before our dog beach opened, the 230 pounds amassed at the 2024 Jimmy Buffett Day Beach Clean-up, and the 26 pounds collected during our clean-up with the awesome kids from Academic Oasis, we have removed a total of 11,038 pounds of litter from our beaches since July 2021!
This daily effort isn’t just about keeping the sand clean; it’s about protecting wildlife, preserving our coastal ecosystem, and ensuring a safe, welcoming space for dogs and their people on our dog-friendly beaches.
You can be part of this movement! Whether you join us as a Paw Ambassador or simply pack out what you pack in, your actions matter. Together, we’re proving that a dog-friendly beach in Daytona Beach, FL, can also be a model for environmental responsibility.
